Concept Development And Requirements Analysis Services

MSC's approach to concept development is to always return to a rigorous, fundamental physics understanding of the problem and the potential solutions. This physics based methodology allows us to move beyond existing practice and handbooks, and to introduce novel solutions to meet our client's goals.

One of the challenges of our business sector is that existing requirements and specifications frequently don't fit the unique features of advanced materials. In other cases, requirements simply don't exist. We have the experience to guide you through these dilemmas. We can use analytical tools and our experience base to logically map new technologies onto existing requirements, or to create meaningful requirements where none exist. Deriving these requirements from concept studies and feasibility analyses allows for the introduction of candidate concepts.

Our Concept Development and Requirements Analysis process is guided by the following three steps:

  • Concept Studies
  • Cost/Performance Trade-off Studies
  • Feasibility Analysis
